Hilary Wright: Board Certified Fort Worth Criminal Defense Attorney

Hilary Wright is an experienced trial attorney and Partner at Hoeller McLaughlin PLLC.  She is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the Texas Bar College.  She is also the President-Elect for the Texas Association of Specialty Courts, with a goal of bringing wide spread attention to helping chemically dependent offenders through treatment (versus just punishment).

Hilary is a former Chief Assistant District Attorney (Criminal Prosecutor in Charge of a Court Team) in both the Tarrant and Dallas County District Attorney’s offices.  Her prosecutorial background includes extensive experience in the trial court, organized crime, human trafficking, and intake/Grand Jury divisions.

This background and experience gives her extensive and valuable insight to the criminal justice system.  Hilary has handled thousands of criminal cases and has tried over 160 felony and misdemeanor criminal trials, including criminal jury trials for DWI, Assault, Burglary of a Habitation, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing and Delivery Charges (Drug Cases), Assault on a Family Member, Aggravated Robbery, Possession of Child Pornography, Sex Assault, Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Indecency with a Minor, Online Solicitation of a Minor, Trafficking of a Minor, Manslaughter, Murder, and Capital Murder.

In addition, Fort Worth criminal defense lawyer Hilary Wright also has a law degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU), as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
